Mary Elizabeth is an abstract painter whose meditative paintings combine dynamic colors, natural shapes, and fluid line work. She worked for many years as a writer, immersed in the investment industry and strategic marketing. Art had always been a focus early in Mary Elizabeth's life; however, it wasn't until 1997, after recovering from life-threatening brain surgery and completing her studies at The Corcoran College of Art + Design, that she made it her life's purpose.
Her print line Abstract Fabulous®, offers a state-of-the-art buying resource for collectors looking for her contemporary, introspective aesthetic. Mary Elizabeth's work is highly sought-after by private and corporate collectors, is shown in galleries and museums in the US, and she has worked on commercial and hospitality interior design projects globally.
Mary Elizabeth has long-standing collaborations with Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma Home among others. Her art has also appeared in designer show homes, books, magazines, major motion pictures, and popular tv shows. She is a juried member of the elite Silvermine Art Guild, and has completed a residency at The Vermont Studio Center.
